What Is Xeomin®?

Xeomin® injections use botulinum toxin type A to soften expression lines caused by repeated facial muscle movement. It differs from some similar aesthetic injectable treatments in that it contains only the active therapeutic component of botulinum toxin, without accessory proteins added to the formulation. This highly purified formulation is why Xeomin® is often referred to as a “naked” neurotoxin.

In clinical practice, purity and formulation can matter when selecting a product and planning long-term aesthetic care.

At PhySlim, Xeomin® is administered only by qualified medical providers and guided by thorough facial assessment, muscle movement patterns, and your individual goals. We plan your treatment around how your face functions, not standardized injection templates.

Understanding How Xeomin® Works

Facial expressions are created by small muscles that contract every time you smile, frown, squint, or raise your eyebrows. Over time, these repeated movements can form dynamic lines that appear when you move your face to express yourself.

As skin elasticity changes, some of these lines may begin to remain even when the face is at rest, becoming resting lines.

Xeomin® works by targeting the facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles, helping the skin above them to relax so lines appear smoother and less pronounced. At the muscle level, Xeomin® influences the signals between nerves and muscles that drive repeated contractions. By gently limiting that activity in selected areas, Xeomin® effectively softens existing lines and prevents new ones from forming.

Importance of Precision in Xeomin Application

Placement, depth, and dosing of Xeomin® injection influence how a muscle responds and how surrounding muscles compensate. This is why Xeomin® treatment at PhySlim is planned around facial movement, symmetry, and balance, not just visible lines.

Xeomin® injections can be used in different ways depending on your needs:

  • Corrective: Softening lines that are already visible
  • Preventative: Limiting muscle activity that contributes to deeper creases
  • Balancing: Refining how facial muscles pull to support smoother, more even movement

Our Personalized Approach to Xeomin® Treatment

Our approach to facial aesthetics is rooted in a commitment to safety, comfort, and excellence. Your Xeomin® treatment plan is guided by physician evaluation, thoughtful planning, and an understanding of how your face moves and changes over time.

Physician-Led Facial Assessment

Your consultation is led by a qualified medical provider who evaluates facial structure, muscle activity, and expression patterns.

Movement Patterns & Skin Quality

We assess how your face moves at rest and in expression, along with skin texture and elasticity, to guide where and how Xeomin® is used.

Goals & Expectations

We discuss what you’re noticing, what you’d like to improve, and what natural-looking results mean for you.

Conservative, Personalized Dosing

Xeomin® is applied in carefully measured amounts, planned to soften lines while preserving natural expression and facial balance.

Comfort-Focused, In-Office Care

Treatments are performed in-office and usually take about 10 minutes, allowing you to return to your day with little interruption. We focus on comfort and provide clear aftercare guidance.

Part of Broader Aesthetic & Wellness Care

When appropriate, Xeomin® is integrated into a larger facial and wellness plan designed to support long-term, natural-looking results.

Targeted Areas We Address Using Xeomin®

At PhySlim, Xeomin® treatment plan is based on how your face moves, where tension is developing, and what changes would help support a more natural, youthful appearance.

Smoothing Upper-Face Expression Lines

Over time, repeated muscle activity in the upper face can contribute to horizontal forehead lines and vertical frown lines.

We offer Xeomin® treatment to reduce the muscle activity that deepens these creases, helping the skin appear smoother and more relaxed. Treatment is planned around symmetry, brow position, and overall facial balance.

We often use Xeomin® to help:

Refreshing the Eye & Brow Area

The muscles around the eyes are some of the most active in the face. Over time, this can contribute to crow’s feet, squint lines, and a heavier or fatigued appearance. We assess how you smile and raise your brows so treatment supports a brighter, more rested look without overcorrection.

Supporting Facial Balance & Symmetry

Facial muscles do not work in isolation. Overactivity in one area can shift how other muscles pull and settle. We use Xeomin® treatment to refine how certain muscles interact, supporting smoother, more balanced facial movement.

We use Xeomin® to help:

Softening Tense or Tired Expressions

Fine lines on the face can create the appearance of stress, fatigue, or frustration, even when you feel well. We use Xeomin® to gently relax the muscles responsible for repeated tightening and pulling. Your evaluation focuses on how your brows, forehead, and eyes move together so lines can be softened without flattening natural expression.

Helping Prevent Deeper Creases Over Time

Xeomin® is not only corrective. It can also be used preventively to limit the repeated muscle activity that contributes to deeper, more permanent lines. Preventative care is guided by your facial movement patterns, skin quality, and long-term aesthetic goals.

What Your Xeomin® Results Realistically Look Like

With Xeomin®, there’s no downtime post-treatment, so you can return to normal activities right after your visit. You may begin to notice visible effects of Xeomin® within a few days, with full results typically settling in around two weeks.

Results commonly last up to four months, though this varies based on muscle strength, facial movement patterns, metabolism, and lifestyle factors. We’ll help you plan follow-up care as needed to support consistent, natural-looking results.

Outcomes of Xeomin® treatment may differ from person to person. During follow-ups, we assess how your face responds and refine your plan accordingly. Over time, consistent, well-planned care may help slow the progression of deeper expression lines and support longer-lasting facial balance.
